Lilian Oben

Lilian Oben is New York based, raised in England, Ethiopia, Italy, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, and Wales. A multifaceted performance artist with a strong global perspective, Lilian has experience in theatre, voice over, commercial modeling, and commercial and industrial narration. She has appeared at many of the top regional theaters throughout the United States, including: Countess Andrenyi in Murder on the Orient Express (Everyman Theatre); Tituba in The Crucible (Olney Theatre); Joan in Melancholy Play – A Contemporary Farce receiving the Helen Hayes Award, Outstanding Production 2019; Helen Hayes Nomination, Outstanding Ensemble in 2019; Fortune Teller in The Skin of Our Teeth, Sympathy the Learned in The Arabian Nights, and Guanyin in Journey to the West (Constellation Theatre Company); Mary in The Second Shepherds’ Play, and Mrs. Jennings in Sense & Sensibility (u/s performed Mrs. Jennings) receiving the Helen Hayes Award, Outstanding Production 2017 (Folger Theatre). Lilian has also been seen on Netflix in The Noel Diary, and Investigation Discovery’s House of Horrors: Kidnapped. As a playwright, her short plays, Aether and Now Casting were featured in the 2019 and 2020 Womxn on Fire Festivals at Keegan Theatre in Washington, D.C.
