Kimber King

is thrilled to be in her first season at Orlando Shakes, where she previously appeared in A Christmas Carol (Charwoman/Charity Collector 2/Ensemble), Charlotte’s Web (Charlotte), and as understudy for Dotty Otley in Noises Off. She is a third year Master of Fine Arts Acting candidate at University of Central Florida. Previous UCF credits include Affinity Lunch Minutes (Jill), Indecent (Elder Vera), The Grumpiest Boy in the World (Scientist 1), Dear Helena (Tessa), and The Wolves (Soccer Mom). A few of Kimber’s film credits include TLC’s Hider in my House, James Franco’s The Color of Time, and The Christmas Bunny with Florence Henderson. Kimber has directed over 20 youth productions including the Penguin Project for youth with special needs. Professional directing credits include Playhouse and Motherhood Out Loud for Michigan’s Playhouse at White Lake. Kimber has written three plays, one of which was an official selection for the Voices of She Play Festival in Dallas, TX.
