Jeroge Bennett Watson is grateful to be making his Orlando Shakes debut. Mr. Watson was most recently seen as Bono in Fences at Pioneer Theatre Company (Salt Lake City, Utah), as Troy Maxson in Fences at Triad Stages (Greensboro, NC), and in Lifetime Movie Network’s upcoming, “untitled affair project” as Det. John Ahern. Jeorge has trained at Washington, D.C.’s Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory with Serge Seiden and Joy Zinoman, with Reed Birney at ESPA/Primary Stages, (NYC), and with Terry Knickerbocker at William Esper Studios and TK Acting Studios (NYC). Other theatre highlights include Zooman in Zooman & the Sign with Arena Players (Baltimore, MD), George in Stopkiss, Woolly Mammoth Theatre (DC), Lincoln in TopDog/Underdog, Studio Theatre (DC), Boy Willie in The Piano Lesson, Arena Stage (DC), Det. Burrows in The Glory of Living, Athena Theatre (LA), Francis/Scott in Three Sisters After Chekhov, Lower Depth Theatre Ensemble (LA), and Dutch in New Orleans, Moving Arts (LA). Television and film credits also include NBC’s Homicide: Life in the Streets, HBO’s The Wire, FX’ Justified, Showtime’s Shameless, CBS’ Cold Case, and Red Wall Productions’ upcoming short film Saving Father.
