By Mark St. Germain
When socially awkward professor Ever Montgomery is forced to attend an event with dancing, he seeks out an injured Broadway performer for help. As their relationship blossoms, both loners are caught off guard by the hilarious and heart-warming discoveries they make about one another. Mark St. Germain’s modern odd couple tells a sweet love story while exploring the reality of disability and Asperger’s syndrome.
“Mark St. Germain's 2014 play, making its Central Florida debut, is many things: an off-kilter love story, a witty comedy, a gentle discourse on autism, especially the high-functioning variety known as Asperger syndrome. But at its heart — and this show has a big heart — it's a poignant look at the effects of loneliness.” - Matt Palm, Orlando Sentinel
“On rare occasions, we find a story that moves us so thoroughly that we see the world from a different perspective when we awake from the dreamlike state. Mark St. Germain's latest masterpiece, DANCING LESSONS, is one of those compelling stories.” - Broadway World, Orlando
