This class is for students looking to explore the skills and dynamics of working with a scene partner. We will focus on active listening, responding fully and truthfully, and analyzing and playing a short scene with intentions, objectives and obstacles. Memorization of a short scene will be required. This is an Essentials class so all are welcome! This two-day workshop will give the actor tools to unlock the text through punctuation, breath and wordplay. Each student must prepare a memorized speech in verse, 12-20 lines in length. Suggestions are available by instructor prior to workshop. [register now]
