On Tuesday, February 16, Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s Bard’s Board Barristers & Friends presented a mock legal proceeding based upon legal issues arising from Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The lively event explored the link between Shakespeare’s dark tragedy and contemporary legal thought in a humorous and light-hearted manner. Actors from Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s production of Hamlet participated in the event. Witnesses included the ghost of Hamlet’s father, his conniving step father, Claudius, and his jilted girlfriend, Ophelia.
